AgriNexus (ANX) is an international, open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to exploring the complex nexus connecting agricultural sciences, technological innovations, socio-economic systems, and environmental governance. As modern agriculture transcends traditional farming boundaries to become a interconnected global system, ANX provides an interdisciplinary platform for agricultural scientists, bio-resource engineers, environmental economists, and policy analysts. The journal emphasizes macro-philosophical frameworks, empirical investigations, and cross-sectoral research that integrate technological advancement with ecological sustainability and resilient food networks.

Scope and Topics

ANX invites high-quality original research articles, conceptual models, and critical literature reviews across a wide array of interdisciplinary agricultural domains, including but not limited to:

  • Interdisciplinary Agricultural Systems: Integration of plant, animal, and soil sciences, agro-forestry nexus, circular farming models, and bio-economy frameworks.

  • Agri-Tech Innovations & Smart Agriculture: IoT applications in farming, agricultural robotics, remote sensing, spatial analysis, and bio-resource engineering.

  • Climate Resilient Farming & Bio-resource Management: Carbon farming, water resource optimization, soil degradation mitigation, and climate adaptation strategies.

  • Agri-Food Supply Chain & Socio-Economic Dynamics: Value chain sustainability, agricultural policy analysis, rural development dynamics, and global food security governance.

  • Agricultural Biotechnology & Systemic Life Sciences: Molecular breeding, sustainable crop protection, plant-microbe interactions, and bio-safety compliance.

Publication Frequency

AgriNexus is published twice a year (March and September). Special thematic issues focusing on emerging global challenges or breakthrough agricultural convergence technologies may be curated upon approval by the Editorial Board.

Peer Review Process

ANX is committed to maintaining high editorial standards through a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review workflow. All submissions undergo initial screening by the editorial team to evaluate scope fit, theoretical depth, and ethical compliance. Manuscripts passing initial screening are evaluated by at least two independent expert reviewers. The Editor-in-Chief retains final authority regarding acceptance, conditional revision, or rejection based on external evaluations.
