JTANI: Jurnal Pertanian is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of comprehensive research in agricultural sciences. The journal provides an authoritative and dynamic platform for agricultural scientists, researchers, academicians, and extension workers to publish original research articles, critical reviews, and short communications that address contemporary challenges in crop production, sustainable farming, and food security.

Scope and Topics JTANI welcomes high-quality submissions based on empirical studies, laboratory experiments, and field research. The journal’s scope encompasses a broad spectrum of agricultural disciplines, including but not limited to:

  • Agronomy & Crop Science: Plant breeding, crop physiology, seed technology, weed science, and innovative cultivation methods.

  • Soil Science & Land Management: Soil fertility, plant nutrition, agro-hydrology, fertilizer technology, and soil conservation.

  • Plant Protection: Entomology, plant pathology, pest and disease management, and biopesticides.

  • Agricultural Technology & Engineering: Smart farming, precision agriculture, mechanization, post-harvest technology, and food engineering.

  • Agroecology & Sustainable Agriculture: Organic farming, biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation in agriculture, and agroforestry.

  • Agricultural Socio-Economics: Agribusiness management, agricultural extension, supply chain analysis, and rural development policies.

Publication Frequency and Access JTANI is published biannually (twice a year). The journal strictly adheres to an Open Access policy, ensuring that the dissemination of agricultural knowledge is entirely unrestricted. All published articles are immediately, permanently, and freely available for the global academic, farming, and industrial community to read, download, copy, and distribute under a Creative Commons (CC) license, eliminating any subscription or paywall barriers.

Peer Review Process To uphold the highest academic and scientific integrity, every submitted manuscript undergoes a strict double-blind peer review process. Independent experts and scholars in relevant agricultural fields evaluate the submissions based on their scientific originality, methodological rigor, accuracy of data analysis, and practical significance to the agricultural sector. The identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain strictly confidential throughout the evaluation process to guarantee an objective assessment.
