JKKM: Jurnal Kesehatan dan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to the advancement of public health sciences, community well-being, and social welfare. The journal serves as a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, public health professionals, epidemiologists, sociologists, and policymakers to publish original research, systematic reviews, and field studies that address contemporary challenges in community health promotion, healthcare delivery systems, and the social determinants of health.

Scope and Topics JKKM welcomes high-quality submissions that offer data-driven solutions and innovative strategies to elevate community welfare. The journal’s scope encompasses a wide range of critical topics, including but not limited to:

  • Public Health & Epidemiology: Infectious and non-communicable disease surveillance, environmental health, occupational health, and biostatistics.

  • Community Health Promotion & Behavioral Sciences: Health education, community-based interventions, digital health literacy, and health behavior modification.

  • Maternal, Child, and Reproductive Health: Preventive care, family planning, and nutritional interventions (including community stunting prevention).

  • Healthcare Policy & Social Welfare: Health economics, healthcare management, public service equity, and social protection programs for vulnerable populations.

  • Community Analysis & Geographically Challenged Regions: Healthcare delivery strategies and social welfare mapping specifically tailored for remote, rural, or underdeveloped communities.

Publication Frequency and Access JKKM is published biannually (twice a year). The journal strictly adheres to an Open Access policy, ensuring that the dissemination of public health and community welfare knowledge is entirely unrestricted. All published articles are immediately, permanently, and freely available for the global academic and practitioner community to read, download, copy, and distribute under a Creative Commons (CC) license, eliminating any subscription or paywall barriers.

Peer Review Process To uphold the highest academic and ethical integrity, every submitted manuscript undergoes a strict double-blind peer review process. Independent expert reviewers in the fields of public health and social sciences evaluate submissions based on their scientific originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and practical significance to society. The identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain strictly confidential throughout the evaluation process to guarantee an objective assessment.
